What is a TAPRITE CO2 REGULATOR?
Taprite CO2 Regulators use to control and regulate the amount of gas released into the beverage from the Co2 Cylinder. Taprite CO2 regulator helps you turn the high pressure of gas into the working pressure that you require.
The regulator is an integral part of a kegerator’s dispense system, helping to monitor CO2 pressure.
Regulators can be found with a single gauge or a dual gauge, which read the pressure in your tank. In a regulator with a single gauge, only the CO2 pressure will be displayed on the display.
These Co2 Regulators are available in PRIMARY, SECONDARY, and Multi-Output Like 2,3,4,6 & 8 outlet Options for the Beer and other special Industries where the different pressure on each outlet is required to maintain.

How to Set Up a TAPRITE CO2 Regulator with a CO2 Tank?
- First, you must ensure that the gas cylinder should be securely attached to the regulator.
- Then don’t forget to ensure that the regulator’s shutoff valve is closed.
- After that, you must completely open the valve on the gas cylinder.
- The regulator adjustment should be turned slowly until the low-pressure gauge displays the desired pressure.
- To increase pressure, turn the dial clockwise, and in order to decrease pressure, turn the dial counterclockwise.
- Then you must allow the pressure already in the keg to vent by pulling the ring on the keg coupler’s pressure relief valve.
- Allow gas to flow through the regulator shut-off valve.
- During the pressurization process, the low-pressure gauge’s needle will drop temporarily until the pressure has equalized, and then will return to the previous reading.
- When the low-pressure gauge does not indicate accurate reading, briefly squeeze the ring on the pressure relief valve on the keg coupler again to allow gas to flow through it.
- Lastly, if it is required you have to adjust the regulator to restore the desired pressure when the low pressure is checked again.
What are the different models & types of CO2 regulators?
Listed below are a few examples of CO2 regulator models/types and their usage.
PRIMARY Regulator with Dual Output: The primary regulator provides one pressure and two outlets when a keg is converted from 1 to 2 kegs.
Co2 Cylinder Mount regulator (Primary + Secondary): This has two regulators combined, but each can have a different outlet pressure setting.
Wall Mounted CO2 Regulator: The same CO2 Regulator and HP Hose set can be used on sites where the CO2 Cylinder must be stored quite away from machines, and you wish to make sure the regulator is protected from unintended damage.
A Regulator with a Manifold Attached: This type of regulator is used with kegerators.
